Benjamin E. Cain

Benjamin E. Cain is an Associate Attorney of the firm. Mr. Cain works with the firm’s partners in providing transactional and advisory work to institutional clients such as colleges, non-profit entities, and schools for children with disabilities. Mr. Cain is also involved in the firm’s litigation and appeal matters on behalf of special education students in administrative proceedings pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

During his time in law school Mr. Cain completed legal internships at the National Labor Relations Board and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. As a law student he also served as a research assistant to Professor Jessica Roth, conducting research on a variety of topics related to criminal justice reform, and performed volunteer legal work for Kids in Need of Defense, an organization that provides legal representation to unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in their deportation proceedings.

Mr. Cain earned his J.D. in 2018 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and obtained his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. Upon graduating law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Linda Grasso Jones, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. He is admitted to practice law in the Courts of New York State, the Courts of the State of New Jersey, and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is also a member of state and local bar associations.
